National Indicators and the Data Interchange Hub
esd-toolkit’s National Indicator Tree View describes the National Indicators that measure outcomes at a local level. It gives the parameters that go into the formula for each indicator and shows where data for each parameter should come. Where an indictor relates to specific Local Government Service List (LGSL) services, these are shown. Local authority users of esd-toolkit can log in to see information specific to their authority for each indictor.
You can define direct links to each indicator in the format: http://www.esd.org.uk/esdtoolkit/NI/nnn.aspx (eg
http://www.esd.org.uk/esdtoolkit/NI/123.aspx)to keep abreast of indicators of particular interest to you.

MoreFeeding data to Local Directgov from your CMS
Local Directgov (LDG) and esd toolkit have consulted with their suppliers, CMS vendors and Local Authorities to agree a simplified XML schema defining the structure of data received by LDG to drive the local government side of the Directgov website.
MoreProfiling Web Accesses to Services
esd-toolkit has now
profiled web access for more than 100 services in co-operation with Local Directgov and esd-suppliers members
Experian.
This page gives links to profiles for a range of service areas. You may also wish to view the
video webcast describing the web profiling.
The web profiling work provides a good example of working through esd-suppliers to better inform service delivery and provide more exposure to a member’s services.
